Blizzard - crocuses are buried!

Just two days ago, I posted a nice photo that Marianne took of crocuses blooming in our flower beds. Well, today those little flowers are buried under a blizzard of snow! Springtime in the Rockies. But, as they say, and it is really true - we need the moisture! The forecast is for up to 16 inches of snow. Time to get out the snowshoes.

Bedroom project and spring crocuses!

Since Quentin got his apartment, we decided to repaint his old room and make it into another guest bedroom. One of the projects was to take an old wooden door and make it into a headboard. I think it will look really nice once we have it all done and attached and a nice bed cover too. But for now, here are a few photos of the room and headboard (and Te Beagh too!). Also, a photo of some of our crocuses blooming - spring is definitely coming.

I think I'm going to try to post on the blog more often. Even just quick updates of what's been going on. The blog action has certainly slowed a bit, and it'd be fun to pick it up a bit.

Tucker - cutest pictures ever!

Marianne and I just got back from visiting in St. Paul and Minneapolis and I wanted to share a few cute photos of Tucker. Especially check out the ones where he is studying his first bird book! Wow!
