Bedroom project and spring crocuses!

Since Quentin got his apartment, we decided to repaint his old room and make it into another guest bedroom. One of the projects was to take an old wooden door and make it into a headboard. I think it will look really nice once we have it all done and attached and a nice bed cover too. But for now, here are a few photos of the room and headboard (and Te Beagh too!). Also, a photo of some of our crocuses blooming - spring is definitely coming.

I think I'm going to try to post on the blog more often. Even just quick updates of what's been going on. The blog action has certainly slowed a bit, and it'd be fun to pick it up a bit.

Wow, the room looks good! It looks so different already. And the door/headboard is really cool.
I will try to follow your lead with blog posts, I agree it's fun to get the updates!!
And thanks for including a picture of Te Beagh, since no post would be complete without her. :)
Love you!

Paint looks great! And a neat idea on the door - can you attach it to the bed frame, or will you go right to the wall?

Happy Spring!

Nato - We're going to put 2x6 legs on the headboard and attach it to the bed frame. Then we're not stuck in just one location.
