Kitchen Progress?!
Well, it may not look like it from this photo, but we are making progress on our kitchen project. Besides the new sink and countertops, we are painting the cabinets and walls. By we, I mean mostly Marianne. She is definitely small, but mighty! Anyway, we are almost done painting and then we can put stuff back in the cabinets. Our sink is supposed to arrive in about 4-5 days, so when we get back from Chicago hopefully we can get the counters and sink put in. Then I need to put all the plumbing back in place, pray for no leaks ( never seems to happen on the first go), and be all ready with a beautiful kitchen when Laurel and Freddie arrive! The miracle will happen.

Don't feel rushed. In fact it would be fun to help if there's anything left to do by the time we get there. See you soon!
Wow, every time I think I know what's up with the project it looks way bigger than I image! Impressive, indeed! I bet the plumbing will be fine - are you brazing anything? Is that the right word? Or just using the teflon tape on threads?
Nate- just some plumbers putty for the sink drains and then teflon tape. Stainless steel sink drains, and then plastic plumbing beloew. But it will be amazing if there are no leaks on the first go, water has a way...
Holy kitchen batman! I was getting excited to come home, but now it's gonna be all different! Hehe, just kidding, it'll always be home, just prettier and newer now!
So, puppy when?
