Amber ale is in the bottle!

Today was a busy day. First we got our new Puppy and then we bottled our very first batch of amber ale. Of course, we tasted a bit as we bottled it, and it seems to be quite good. A little carbonation, bottle conditioning, and voila - it will be ready to drink in a week or two! Much quicker than wine, so that part is great! I couldn't get the pix to download - but trust me - it looks good too!

Three cheers for beer! I'm excited to hear how it tastes in a few weeks, it's always so fun to crack your first bottle!!

...and, while I'm excited there's another post up, I'm also kind of expecting nonstop puppy blogging. Can you please get on that? :)

Mike and I just bottled our first batch of beer last week too! It's an amber ale also. And we've got a blueberry wheat fermenting as we speak. :) Home brewing is fun!

This is your niece Kym by the way :)
