Snowy Range, Wyoming

Several guys from the Men's Group went up to the Snowy Range in Wyoming yesterday for a hike. It was a gorgeous day and the scenery there was amazing. Marianne and I had hiked there many years ago, but I had forgotten how beautiful it was. There were not too many birds around, but I did manage to get a nice photo of a white-crowned sparrow - aptly named, as you can see.

Wow, great shots! That's totally gorgeous... I love it out here, but the bits I do miss about Colorado have mostly to do with the mountains.

And what a good bird photo, that's really cool! Too bad you're not out here this Tuesday, I read a local bar is doing a "Birds and Beer" get together for local birders and enthusiasts -- sounds fun!

Nte - Birds and Beer - hey, that was my idea for an alternative bed and breakfast! Sounds like fun.
